SAUNA DETAILS for 4 to 6 people
The modern Mojodas sauna is a cube: 2550 x 2550 x 2550 mm
The sauna consists of a 42 mm thick planed and dried pine or spruce beam. The roof is made of fiberglass, so it is a durable and reliable construction. The exterior of the sauna can be chosen from our list of options.
It comes assembled and ready to use.
The sauna cleanses the skin:
The heat bath is one of the oldest beauty and/or health strategies in terms of skin cleansing. When the body begins to produce sweat via deep perspiration, then the skin is cleansed and dead skin cells are replaced, which keeps your skin in good working order. Sweating removes bacteria from the epidermal layer and sweat ducts. Cleansing pores has been shown to improve capillary circulation while giving skin a smoother looking quality.

The modern sauna is a simple, unpainted room with wooden walls and benches. An electric heater filled with stones maintains the temperature at around 90° at ground level and raises it to around 185° at the top. Unlike Turkish baths, Finnish saunas are very dry. Humidity levels are only 10-20%. Water drains through the floor to keep things dry. In a good sauna, an efficient ventilation system renews the air 3 to 8 times per hour.
SAUNAS BURN CALORIES
While some people may experience large amounts of calories burned at first – especially people who are initially out of shape – in the long run, saunas are simply treated as one of many tools in our arsenal when it comes to to burn extra calories. The sweating process itself requires a noticeable amount of energy. This energy comes from the conversion of fats and carbohydrates in a body process that burns calories. According to US Army Medical Research (Ward Dean, MD), “A moderately conditioned person can easily sweat 500 grams in a sauna in a single session, consuming almost 300 calories in the process.” The body consumes said calories due to the acceleration of cardiac activity (the cardiovascular section). As heart activity increases and these processes require more oxygen, the body begins to convert more calories into usable energy.
