Rot-proof by the nature of its fibers and totally devoid of chemical binders, felt respects the environment. Polypropylene is the most synthetically neutral fiber and has the best resistance to possible acid attacks from masonry.
Anti-contaminating and immarcescible (no withering), this protective felt, treated against bacteria and fungus, constitutes a homogeneous layer composed of fibers, recommended as anti-puncturing protection, stopping migrations in sealing devices by liners. After cleaning the apron and removing any surface defects, the felt will “dress” the pool. It is important to note that the use of the felt before the installation of the liner has the main effect of protecting it from the lower perforation.
The felt also ensures the chemical separation between the components of the slab and the pvc.
It should be noted, in conclusion, that the installation of felt will provide the pool with additional comfort through a softer contact.
